Giuseppe Verdi’s Masterpiece Under the Open Sky at the Opera Arena on Heumarkt

The Vienna Opera Summer is a cultural open-air spectacle that transforms Vienna’s Heumarkt into a unique opera arena under the stars. From July 1 to 19, twelve performances will bring together international opera stars, the Wiener KammerOrchester, and the Philharmonia Choir on a spectacular stage designed by Manfred Waba.

Presented by artistic director and conductor Joji Hattori, staged by Dominik am Zehnhof-Söns, and featuring Oscar-winning actor Karl Markovics as narrator between the musical scenes, this production of La Traviata offers a world-class operatic experience in the heart of Vienna.
